I saw the liver specialist again last week. I was so frustrated because I could tell he didn't remember me and hadn't even looked over my test results until we were in the room. He said the only treatment for N.A.S.H. (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) is exercise and diet. From my research on the internet, I know he's right. But I sure would have liked a more personal diagnosis. John and I are going back to Weight Watchers tonight...with a new incentive...staying alive!
On the positive side of life...we had a wonderful Easter with Joel and Wendy! Their home is so comfy and they made us feel really welcome. It was so much fun to spend Easter with them and Molly and Myron...also Wendy's folks and some friends from church. We fell in love with Stokley too. He's such a cuddly, calm puppy! Everytime we come home from Michigan we talk about how much we want to move closer to the kids. We're praying that we'll be able to retire and make a new life in Michigan in a few years. We really want to know our grandchildren and have them be a part of our lives.

I heard Molly say something about your liver is like a Polar bears and it excessively stores fat or something and its genetic. What's that all about?
Good luck at weight watchers!
